The S&P 500 Index closed at 3,972.90 on 3/31/21 after rising 4.38% during the month following a 2.76% rise in February. At current levels, the S&P 500 has hit and continues to remain around all-time highs. Out of the 11 sectors that make up the index, all were positive over the month of March. While all sectors rose, returns remained much more volatile between sectors with Utilities and Industrials up 10.46% and 8.87%, respectively, Technology up 1.68% and the other 8 sectors falling somewhere in between.
